Cutting Readily cut with saw or abrasive wheel
Machinging Rigid set-up, slow speed, heavy feed, sharp tools, adequate coolant
Forming Formed at room temp. whenever possible. Hot forming recommended for complex structures.
Joining, Welding Sound moderately ductile welds if protected

1300 - 1600F, 15 - 60 min, air cool slower
1300 - 1450F, 1 - 2 hours, air cool or slower
Solution Treating 1700 - 1750F, 1 hr water quench (bar)
1660 - 1725F, 5 - 20 min, WQ (sheet and plate)
Aging 1000F, 4 hr, AC
Stress Relief Annealing 900 - 1200F, 1 - 4 hr, AC
